EverZinc is looking to reinforce its European HQ in Ans (BE) team with an accountant
SUMMARY
The accountant role at Everzinc covers a broad range of financial activities with a main focus on VAT, Consolidation, Tax related Topics, Invoicing and participation in the monthly closing process. This position will work on different legal entities, mainly Belgium or Dutch based. The candidate is a teamplayer, can handle deadlines in a fast changing environment and is energized by diversity in activities. This role reports into the Group Accounting Director.
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
- VAT
- Monthly filing of the Belgian VAT statements
- Preparation of the foreign VAT statements with the assistance of an external firm
- Follow up of VAT issues
- Consolidation
- Preparation of the monthly consolidations and sub-consolidations in SIGMA tool (based on US GAAP)
- Preparation of monthly closings’ postings (Belgian and Dutch entities)
- Booking of purchase invoices (SAP/VIM)
- Invoices of services and other goods (mainly)
- Invoices of raw materials
- Invoices of transport
- Preparation and booking of re-invoicing
- Processing of expense notes
- Preparation of payment requests in SAP
- Filing of mandatory statistics
- Assistance during the audit process
- Preparation of Belgian statutory annual accounts
- Assistance in tax related topics (BE + NL)
YOUR FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Professional experience in accounting of minimum 5 years
- Minimum bachelor in accounting
- Good knowledge of English
- Concrete experience in VAT
- Knowledge of SAP/ VIM
- Extra asset : experience in analytical accounting
