EverZinc invests in its future

Now more than ever it's important to prepare the future. As the COVID pandemic is hitting full swing our social and economic lives, EverZinc is preparing the future of its Angleur plant by investing in capacity and flexibility.

In order to better serve its customers in Europe and around the world, the Angleur plant is undergoing a major lift bringing more flexibility in its production to adapt easier and faster to ever changing market demands, new products to meet new market requirements and also more capacity to ensure that we are ready when our customers and the market are back to reach new heights.

"It's one of the largest and most critical investment the plant has seen over the last 10-15 years" said the new plant manager Eric Deschuyteneer.

The Angleur plant is the oldest plant within the EverZinc Group and was as it's orgin 180 years ago. Today, it produces a wide range of Fine Zinc Powder used in the Painting, Chemical and Mining Market.

EverZinc is a global leader in zinc ranging from Fine Zinc Powder, Zinc Oxyde, Zinc Batteries and Zano with more than 600 employees operating in Belgium, Canada, China, the Netherlands, USA, Norway, Malaysia and Australia. EverZinc processes more than 200,000 tons of materials of which 40% are recycled and refined at 10 production sites to serve its growing global customer base.
