we wish to engage a SAP Manager Europe

Everzinc, the global Zinc Expert is looking for an experienced SAP Manager Europe with hands-on expertise in multiple modules especially with Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD).

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The SAP Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning while delivering operational support, issue resolution, and system optimization while being accountable for SAP operations. The role involves technical troubleshooting, Functional expertise and strategic management responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• SAP MM & SD Modules Support primarily, and accountability is inclusive of other modules (FICO, PS, VIM, WM, QM, PM, PP, Treasury, Fiori & Integrations) implemented in EverZinc SAP.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues within SAP MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize business processes in MM and SD modules.
• Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to understand and meet business requirements/ needs.
• Implement and oversee system enhancements and configuration changes in SAP with business requirements gathering and functional specs creation.
• Work with AMS provider to Ensure timely incident resolution, adhering to defined SLAs. 
• Oversee SAP projects ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Provide technical expertise during the design, development, and deployment phases of SAP projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate SAP with other enterprise systems as needed.
• Liaise with business users, vendors, and senior management to ensure smooth communication and alignment of SAP activities with business objectives.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on new features and improvements.
• Continuous Improvements - Proactively identify opportunities to optimize SAP processes and improve system performance.
• Stay updated with SAP innovations and best practices and recommend improvements.
• Assessing business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation.
• Evaluating IT infrastructure and capabilities, as well as facilitating cost-effective improvements.
• Customizing/Enhancing existing programs and adding new programs to SAP per business needs and requirements.
• Configuring SAP solutions to ensure smooth system integration, enhanced functionalities, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Managing minor projects from requirements gathering to solution delivery/go-live and report status to management.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Hands-on experience with configuration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting in MM & SD and leading issues in other modules ex: FICO, PS, VIM, WM, QM, PM, PP, Treasury, Fiori & Integrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA. ▪ Proficiency in integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, PP, etc.).
• Knowledge of ABAP and debugging is preferred. ▪ Experience leading SAP projects or large-scale upgrades.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex system issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Customer-centric with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, evolving IT environment

REPORTING LINE

Reports to VP Global IT

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP, with strong expertise in MM and SD modules.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• This position will require limited travel to other company locations.
