For our Zolder (BE) site, 
we wish to engage a Financial Controller

PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, financial control, financial and management reporting, variance analysis, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for two plants located in Eijsden and Zolder. Additionally, they will maintain close collaboration with the finance team of the Interco sales entity based in Belgium

Responsibilities:

• The Financial Controller reports hierarchically to the Plant Manager Eijsden/Zolder and functionally to the EU Finance Director. The Financial Controller works closely with Belgian Corporate office. Has one direct report, the accountant.
• The Financial Controller is responsible for management accounting activities for our plants located in Eijsden/Zolder (Belgium & the Netherlands).
• He/She Coordinates month-end closing process to meet monthly closing schedule and qualitative requirements.
• He/She is responsible for partnering with the Plant Manager and Finance Director during the preparation of the budget, forecast, the monthly reporting and KPI's. The Financial Controller supports the Plant manager and internal stakeholders in the guidance of the results and performance.
• He/She is in charge of ad hoc analysis (including purchase price break-even, profitability per clients, metal balance), capex requests (pay-back) and follow-up of investment.
• He/She is able to identify any challenges and opportunities to improve profitability
• The Financial Controller will handle monthly closing report activities (monthly EBITDA) and will make costs analysis.
• He/She is able to manage major projects such as implementation of management cost accounting (done in Excel), change of legal structure and related SAP impact, legal entities incorporation (Zano business) & related tax/ transfer pricing consequences.

Skills:

• Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge of SAP and reporting tool (Sigma reporting) is an advantage.
• Analytical & Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail, precision and analytical abilities
• Communication: Fluent in English and Dutch, with excellent communication skills. French is a plus.
• Team player: Collaborative, diligent and solution-oriented.
• Have the capacity to be Hands-on and multitask
• Strong stakeholder management, preferably with experience in matrix organization and
• Private Equity

Experience:

• 5 years in Financial Controlling or Accounting role within the industry. First experience in audit is an advantage.
• Masters Degree in Finance/Economics is required.
